Van Gardener is a fictional magazine that I developed in my editorial design class. The magazine aims to provide information about Vancouver area and surrounding communities, including stories on plants, garden design, events and other useful tips.
During my research, I noticed that most existing gardening magazines are a great source of information but the layout looks busy and bland with a lot of images and text lacking hierarchy. The main goal was to create a clean and fun layout preserving a good amount of information.
